Hello ATA Families,
It is hard to believe that the month is almost over! Hasn’t this weather been outstanding?
We all have been doing a great job remembering to check in on Facebook for #austismawareness! Our school alone has been able to donate over 70 minutes of autism therapy for families in need! This is amazing! Let’s see if we can double that number by the end of the month. All you need to do is check in on facebook whenever you walk in the door. Feel free to check in even when you are not here– it will still count!
This week with Earth Day on Friday, we have been talking about respect for society. We encourage you to continue our mat chat in the car on your way home from ATA to make the most out of family time and to reinforce what is taught in class.
Many people have been asking about our Summer Camps. Here is a quick recap:
The Jedi Training and Nerf camps are FULL! There is a waiting list available.
There are only a few spots remaining in most of the other camps. If you are unsure what camp would be recommended for your child, please ask an instructor.
After care and drop in days are still available for most camps as well.
-This week ATA will be sponsoring the Family Block of Films at the West Chester Film Festival on Saturday morning. We still have some FREE tickets for those interested– one of the perks of being an ATA member! 🙂 Please go out and support this local event!
-Next weekend, we will host our classes outside at the Pocopson Elementary School Art & Garden Festival on Saturday, April 30th. Please plan to wear your alternate weekend uniform (ATA tshirt and black ATA pants). Wear your white uniform at your own risk. We do have alternate uniforms available for purchase if you would like to pick one up over the next few days. Next week you will be receiving an email with the details and adjusted class schedule for our day of classes outside.
Finally, a big thank you to the Krug Family for introducing the Myers Family to ATA Martial Arts! The Krug Family earned a month of free tuition! Thank you for sharing the benefits of our program with others. It is by far the biggest compliment you can give.
